Beat Boy

The color scheme of this set of keycaps is inspired by KO2, the drum machine designed by Teenage Engineering. When your fingers dance on the keycaps, the pleasing sound of each keystroke jointly comprise an electronic song. We introduced elements of the drum machine into the design of keycaps to build an exclusive “drum machine” for you. With Beat Boy, typing is no longer a boring task, but more like improvisation. Whether you are working on daily tasks or working on personal projects, this set of keycaps will add a touch of fun to your daily life. Paired with Keytok’s unique Smile Profile Keycaps, Beat Boy will bring you a different typing experience with each keystroke.

The Smile profile: It’s the CHERRY profile(so you don’t need to spend any time getting used to it) with some ergonomic adjustments. The lower edges of the keycaps are made more rounded, and the rounded corners are enlarged for smoother contact. Moreover, The curvatures of the top edge and the contact with the pulp are also adjusted to give off a more neutral look and comfortable tapping. Beneath the surface we have optimized the internal chamber accordingly: chamber walls are bent to better concentrate the sound, which leads to less noise and hollow sound, a crisper and firmer bottoming out, and less ‘leaky’ noise. In addition, a new material composition is adopted to improve the friction and grip of the surface.
