NOVA SWITCH

Both the typing feel and the typing sound are of high quality.

I understand that the gift box packaging might seem excessive to some, but personally, I love it as it enhances the premium feel of the key switches.

After installing the NOVA switches, I'm using the empty case to display other favorite key switches.

Im no keyboard enthusiast just someone who takes gaming kinda seriously since Im a competitive person, I found these switches from the wooting app when looking at what switches are supported, I had TTC Kings which I liked compared to the Lekker for the longer springs and better stability, these switches (nova) are just a better version of the TTC King in every way. Stability is very similar but slightly better, the springs are both long, same travel, force, and flux but with more consistency and accuracy, and the sound is amazing (at least in my opinion). The only 2 places where this switch falls a bit flat is the pricing and packaging. The price is pretty high considering the wooting cost and how many switches you need but is understandable given the high end feeling of these switches, the packaging is great in theory but unpractical and annoying in practice, I order 90 switches and received 9 small boxes of 10 individually packaged switches. Its great knowing that each one is protected but frustrating when you have to open a box then unbox 10 switches from inside that box before moving onto another 8 boxes of switches while putting them in, and while I can understand the individually boxed switches I dont understand why they couldn't but put into a larger box based on the order size rather than in boxes of 10 if you're going to package them that way. Overall I would give these a 8.5/10 but a 10/10 for switch quality/performance.

Amazing switches. Glass smooth, super lightweight, excellent stability and RGB passthrough and a very quiet, muted sound for a HE switch.

However I gave a 2 star rating because it should be downright illegal to make products with packaging this insultingly wasteful. The boxes are excessively massive and each switch is individually packaged in it's own little polycarbonate container, making them utterly impractical for storage. Literally half this product's steep cost is probably just in the cost of the packaging alone, which is only gonna get sent to landfill anyway. Utterly ridiculous.

Just give us regular plastic tubs like everyone else and pass the cost savings down to the customer. Do better.
